Question 1

Does the car come with a title and VIN number?

Accepted Answer

Unlike a bare Dynacorn shell, our cars retain the original VIN number and clean title from the coupe donor car. There are no registration or licensing problems.

Question 2

What about finding replacement parts, interior panels and glass?

Accepted Answer

All major Mustang supply parts houses carry everything you need to build the shell, and many companies offer updated modifications to make your car into a modern performance machine. You can buy all-new parts today and avoid having to salvage old, worn-out pieces.

Question 3

Can you tell by looking at the car it used to be a Coupe?

Accepted Answer

No, not from the outside. Sitting side by side, even an expert could not tell unless they look at the VIN, title, or modified inner steel structures. From Ford, there was only one roof support, whereas our fastback conversions have two roof supports, plus a custom structural support connecting from the inner door jam to the inner wheel house. The original Mustangs did not have this. There are also structural supports from the inner wheel house to the roof. These are significantly stronger than what Ford originally used, preventing body stress and chassis flex under high horsepower loads.

Question 4

Can you convert my own Coupe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are two ways to do this. We can do a partial conversion if you send us the car with every single part stripped off—no glass, interior, lights, molding, or suspension. The car must be placed on a transport dolly. Keep in mind, the cost may vary because extensive structural rust or damage in shock towers and subframes must be repaired properly first. In many cases with transport costs included, it is actually more affordable to buy a complete conversion Mustang directly from us.

Question 5

Do you have any distributors overseas?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you live in South Africa, there is a distributor in Durban on the east coast offering completed cars with new 4.6L V8 motors, 5-speed transmissions, and fully-engineered Right-Hand Drive. We ship overseas regularly, as our client base is international. We are also planning to expand active distributors in Europe and Australia.

Question 6

How many of these conversions have been built?

Accepted Answer

As of June 2009, over 100 conversions have been built, not including our custom Eleanor-style Mustangs. Our experience is priceless, and the quality is absolutely excellent!

Question 7

On the Eleanor style cars, can you build them with 700+ horsepower or change options?

Accepted Answer

Show me the money honey and anything can be built! We can customize any body styling, paint accents, engine configurations, or chassis modifications you can imagine.

Question 8

Why are original Fastbacks so hard to find nowadays?

Accepted Answer

Here is a hint: Australia is the single biggest importer of classic Mustangs on the planet. On average, Australian buyers import over 360 Mustangs (1965-1968) every single month. They have agents in the US scouring every town. To get your dream car, it is far smarter to buy what you can find—such as a clean Coupe—and convert it structurally.

Question 9

What is your warning before calling or emailing?

Accepted Answer

Please be serious. If you are ready to purchase a body shell or have your car restored, then we will talk. If you are just thinking about it or won't have the funds for a year, keep dreaming and leave us in peace! We need to stay on track with current customer jobs and keep our clients happy. We don't want to spend 60 hours a week answering emails! Talk to your wife first before you call us! It never fails when we hear someone say 'everything sounds great but I need to talk to the wife'—then it is all over. Talk to her first! If she doesn't want the kitchen remodeled, then you can spend her money, go for it, and call us!
