1968 PONTIAC FIREBIRD CONVERTIBLE ! SOLD

I have owned this since Jan 2007 !   It has original 39,000 miles! The motor is a 350 with a 350 automatic transmission.

The a/c blows cold and hard! Car runs the best it can and very smooth. The transmission shifts perfect and has no leaks!

Perfect straight body and beautiful paint! Perfect trunk and the underneath side of the car is clean with no rust.

I just pulled the transmission and replaced the rear main motor seal with the new style neoprene gasket!!!!  NO CORK !

The cork works for a while and then starts to leak and I hate leaks. I replaced the front and rear seal on the transmission and

also the pan. NO LEAKS ANYWHERE!  Also replaced was the oil pan gasket!!!!!!

The car has dual exhaust and it is not loud. It has a 4 barrel carb. Car runs cool and has never overheated. It has a nice alarm

system then never malfunctions. It has a remote start, door locks and siren. The alarm system works great.

The previous owner I knew had the car  for 12 years and he stated it was the original miles and it shows Box A original miles on the title.  I replaced the upholstery with factory style. The carpet , door panels and dash pad are in perfect shape!

I just did some front end work and the car still has the original upper ball joints that are still in great shape. These were pressed

in from the factory and the aftermarket ones are bolted in.

The electric top works great. The stereo is not a killer one it just gets you by. Nothing fancy. It has a B&M shifter which looks out

of place and should be replaced with factory. The grills are original and have small minor cracks in them. The chrome and bumpers

are in great shape.

This is a great driver, comfortable, clean, dependable and a great looking ride!
